Ardmore LaSalle Church of Christ

"Reaching Up, Reaching In, Reaching Out"

The Church of Christ is not a denomination. Denominationalism implies a sect, or a part of a whole. The church that Jesus established is the complete Body of Christ. There is only ONE true source of authority relative to Christ's church, that is the divine authority of the Bible. Christ's church was built upon the "rock" foundation. (Matt 21:42, Acts 4:11, Ephesians 2:20). The Bible instructs that "other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 3:11).

The Church of Christ has no doctrine of her own. The infalliable doctrine to guide the Church of Christ is the doctrine of Christ, the New Testament.

Christ's church was established in the city of Jerusalem in the year 33 A.D., on the first penetecost after Christ's resurrection from the dead, recorded in Acts chapter 2.

Salvation from sin necessitates two parts: God's part and man's part. John 3:16 states God's part, while John 3:36 states man's part. To be saved is to obtain remission of sins. Those believers who acknowledges Christ as the Son of God and the Savior and who have repented and were baptized obtain remission of sins, (Acts 2:36-38). To be purchased by the blood of Christ is to be a member of Christ's Church (Acts 20:28).

Church Motto:

We must be repairers of the breach and restorers of the streets.. Reaching in... Reaching up... Reaching out!
